Healthy, wholesome, and protein-rich green moong (also known as green gram ) makes a perfect comforting meal when served with rice, roti, or paratha.
Steps

Wash and soak the moong in hot water for at least 30 minutes.
Chop the onion, tomato,garlic,ginger and chillies. - 2
Add oil in a pressure cooker.
Add all tadka ingredients together with chopped garlic ginger and chillies and let it splutter.
After that add chopped onion along with tomato and salt.
Add little water and let the tomato get mushy. - 3
Now add chilli turmeric and coriander powder and Kasuri methi.mix well.
Add water and then add soaked moong.
Let the water boil.then close the lid.
Blow 3 whistles then switch off the gas. - 4
When the pressure cooker cools down, open the lid. Add kitchen king masala, lemon juice and fresh coriander.
Mix it and boil for a minute. - 5
Gravy moong is ready.
Transfer it in the bowl.
Sprinkle coriander and serve with either rice,roti or Paratha.
Enjoy..
I served it with coconut milk rice..
