Steps

Take moong and wash properly. Soak for 3 - 4 hours in hot water.

Pressure cook for 5 - 6 whistles. In a pan take oil. Add asafoetida and red chilli powder in it as soon as it gets hot.

Add boiled moong and all the spices in it. Mix well.

Add jaggery and lemon juice and again mix well. Cover it with lid for 5 - 7 minutes. Serve hot with roti, Paratha or rice.
