Wash and remove skin of beetroot and pressure cook in 3/4 cup of water. (i cooked for about 5 whistles). Once the pressure is released let it cool. Transfer including the water in a mixture jar and add sugar and vanilla to it. Blend it to smooth batter consistency. Set aside.

In a pan,add butter and let it melt on medium heat. Add semolina and roast until golden brown.

Add beetroot and sugar mixture and keep stirring until all the water is absorb. Cook until the butter leaves sides and it forms a dough consistency. Add cardamom and cinnamon powder and mix well.
Transfer in a serving dish and decorate the halwa. - 6
