Soak green moong for 3 hours. Boil moong by adding pinch of salt and turmeric powder. Do not over cook.

Soak basmati rice for 20 minutes. Then boil for 10 minutes. Make ' chutta' rice.

Strain it in a strainer. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds, dry red chilli and bay leaf.

Add chopped onion and Saute it well.
Add chopped tomatoes, carrot and Saute it for 3 minutes. - 5
Add chopped capsicum, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pulao masala, add chopped green chillies, ginger garlic paste.mix it well.

Add cooked rice, salt and mix it. Add salt. Add boiled moong.

Give a nice mix. Cook for 2 minutes. So moong is mix with all spices and vegetables. Moong pulav is ready to serve. It's very tasty. Sprinkle chopped green coriander.
