Cut the chicken into 4 pieces and wash well. Peel the potatoes and slice them into rounds, then arrange them in a baking dish.

Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and spices. Add the tomato paste and season with salt, pepper, and chicken seasoning. Add the cardamom pods and bay leaf. Place the chicken on top and add 1 cup of water. Brush the chicken with a little pomegranate molasses.
