1-Minute Microwave Rich Oreo Brownies

Perfect for Valentine's Day! These rich, chocolatey brownies are ready in just 1 minute in the microwave. Topped with Oreos for a stylish finish.
No need for a baking pan (can be made in a container)
No oven needed (made in the microwave)
No eggs, butter, or margarine required.
About this recipe
I adjusted a previous microwave brownie recipe made with pancake mix to use all-purpose flour. Instead of topping with chocolate or granola, I used crushed Oreos.

Steps
- 1
Preparation: Line a microwave-safe container with parchment paper in a cross shape.
- 2
Place chocolate and soy milk (or regular milk) in a microwave-safe bowl (or deep microwave-safe dish) and heat in the microwave at 600W for 40 seconds without covering.
- 3
After heating, use a whisk to mix until the chocolate is melted and smooth. The residual heat will melt any remaining chocolate.
- 4
Add vegetable oil and mix, then sift in the all-purpose flour and mix until there are no dry spots.
- 5
Break half of the Oreos into pieces and gently mix them in.
- 6
Pour the batter into the microwave-safe container, tapping the bottom to remove air bubbles.
- 7
Crush the remaining Oreos into pieces and sprinkle on top, then heat in the microwave at 600W for 50 seconds to 1 minute without covering.
- 8
Lightly touch the surface; if no raw batter sticks, remove and let cool completely. The edges may seem slightly undercooked but will firm up when cooled.
- 9
Cut into desired sizes. (The photo shows brownies chilled overnight in the fridge.) Slice slowly with a knife for clean cuts.
- 10
Optionally, sprinkle non-melting powdered sugar using a sifter. The finished thickness is about 1 inch.
