Black chickpeas (kala chana) is a good source of protien and it also contain fiber, vitamins and iron which is very beneficial for our health. Today I have shred just simple and tasty black chana recipe which is ptepared with some basic ground spices, ginger and green chillies. It is perfect to serve in breakfast ,lunch box or as side dish.

Today I have shred just simple and tasty black chana recipe which is ptepared with some basic ground spices, ginger and green chillies. It is perfect to serve in breakfast ,lunch box or as side dish.
Steps

In a kadhai add oil and heat up. Add cumin seeds,carom seeds and asafoetida. Saute few seconds.

Add onion slices and green chillies. Saute till the onion turn light brown. Add ginger garlic paste and 1 tbsp water and cook for a minute.

In a small bowl add all powder spices expect cumin powder. Add 1tbsp hot water and make a paste.

Now the ginger garlic has cooked add this spices paste and stir. Cook for 2 minutes that the spices cook well.

Add boiled Chana,mix and cook on high flame for 2 minutes,cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. Then remove the lid add cumin powder and dry mint leaves. Mix well.

Cook on high flame for 1-2 minute. Add coriander leaves. Mix again.

Turn off the flame. Transfer in serving bowl garnished with some chopped onion,radish and coriander leaves.
