Super simple (and quick) tomato pizza sauce - This recipe can be adapted to fresh ingredients, the results are identical!

Just an easy recipe I use for sauce when we make pizza. Makes a great dipping sauce too. It makes enough for 2-4 16" pizzas, depending how saucy you like them. For freezing it, see step 4.

Weekends are for pizza! I like big pizzas. I wanted to make a simple sauce that brings out the flavor of the pizza toppings.If you're topping with cheese or ham, they already contain salt, so it's okay to reduce the amount of salt in the sauce. I make a good deal of homemade pizza simply because everyone here loves it and living in rural Colorado, the nearest decent pizza place is 2 1/2 hours away. I'm really picky about the sauce and dough. The dough I have down but it took me some time to get the sauce to "my" liking. Yes I do use canned tomato sauce but I am ok with that. Enjoy!

An rich and creamy white sauce for homemade pizza.I make a lot of pizza on my Kamado Joe, and it's nice to have different flavors to involve.This sauce is really delicious and you'll be surprised at how little it tastes like onions. It's great topped with a little mozzarella, sauteed mushrooms and sliced cherry tomatoes.

This is my own easy recipe for homemade pizza sauce. The below makes enough for approximately one large pizza. Increase all ingredients for more sauce. My family likes a very sweet pizza sauce. If you don't want it to be very sweet instead of grape/cherry tomatoes use 4 cans of crushed tomatoes and only 1/4 a cup of Sugar.

I used garlic powder and dry red chilli instead of garlic cloves and red chilli powder.
