I make a good deal of homemade pizza simply because everyone here loves it and living in rural Colorado, the nearest decent pizza place is 2 1/2 hours away. I'm really picky about the sauce and dough. The dough I have down but it took me some time to get the sauce to "my" liking. Yes I do use canned tomato sauce but I am ok with that. Enjoy!

I used garlic powder and dry red chilli instead of garlic cloves and red chilli powder.

This is my own easy recipe for homemade pizza sauce. The below makes enough for approximately one large pizza. Increase all ingredients for more sauce. My family likes a very sweet pizza sauce. If you don't want it to be very sweet instead of grape/cherry tomatoes use 4 cans of crushed tomatoes and only 1/4 a cup of Sugar.
