My Special Eggs
I gave my homemade recipe to family, friends, and people that don't even like eggs. They all enjoyed it, so now I would like to share it with all of you.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Melt the butter in a skillet.
- 2
Grab two bowls. Separate egg yolk from egg white. Set the egg white aside. IMPORTANT: Make sure the egg yolk is intact and inside the egg seperator. Dont let the egg yolk fall apart!
- 3
Carefully place the egg yolk onto the skillet. Let cook undisturbed on high heat for 30 seconds, then flip it (the yolk still intact) and let cook for another 30 seconds. Repeat 2 times, then turn the heat to low.
- 4
Pour half of the pizza sauce you will be using onto the skillet, covering the egg yolk.
- 5
Flip the egg yolk and let it cook for 30 seconds, then flip again and repeat.
- 6
Place the slice of ham onto the skillet, and the yolk on top of it. (It is optional to add extra pizza sauce at this point.) Flip both and let cook for 1 minute, then flip again and let cook for another minute. Now the egg should be on top of the ham.
- 7
Slide a slice of bread under the ham and egg. Let cook for 30 seconds before flipping. Let cook for 30 seconds again, then flip once more.
- 8
Slide a slice of cheese between either the bread and ham, or the ham and egg. Let cook for 1 minute before flipping. Let cook for another minute, then flip it again. The egg should remain in the center, and on the top.
- 9
Bring the entire dish onto a plate, sprinkle some smoked paprika, italian seasoning, and black pepper if you would like.
- 10
Take the egg white you seperated earlier. It should hopefully be in a bowl. Add the last half of pizza sauce, some smoked paprika, italian seasoning, black pepper, and any other seasonings you would like into the bowl and whisk it all together with a fork.
- 11
Pour the mixture into a skillet and scramble the egg whites on medium to medium-high heat until fully cooked.
- 12
Place the egg whites on top of the ham or cheese (whichever is on top), surrounding the egg yolk.
- 13
Season as you would like, and for decoration add a tablespoon of butter on top of the egg yolk. Serve and enjoy!

My Special Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl My Special Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl
My poor hubby had lost his appetite because the weather was so hot every day, so I made him his favorite donburi (rice bowl). In order to encourage his appetite, I went easy on the amount of rice and served him some tempura and cold udon noodles too to make his favorite combination lunch.Usually the chicken and onion are simmered from the start, but my mother taught me that simmered dishes are better if they are stir fried first, so I adapted that advice to making oyako don as well. Magical Stuffed Eggs Magical Stuffed Eggs
I wanted to make something simple but pretty that would make everyone happy. After chopping the onion, absorb the excess moisture with kitchen papers to refrain it from being watery when you put it on the eggs. The tuna salad is seasoned already so it doesn't actually need sauce. Dressed Eggs Dressed Eggs
In Alabama, they call these dressed eggs. Most know them as deviled eggs. Sometimes, I put some bacon bits on the top. What makes these a bit different is the use of Albama BBQ sauce. Some people like these with relish as well, but I didn't have any on hand. Raven -
Eggs in a Basket Eggs in a Basket
This is a fun way to serve fried eggs and toast. Kids LOVE it, especially when you get creative and use cookie cutters with shapes. With Halloween right around the corner, I've made mine for sharing today using my bat and ghost cookie cutters. This is one of those recipes that I don't include any specific quantities for the ingredients. You'll want to make 1-2 baskets per person, and just need one egg for every one piece of bread and enough butter for coating your pan before adding each new bread slice. It's best to cook these one at a time unless you have a very wide skillet or griddle, which I do not. Lol.The only thing you always have to be sure of is that your crusts stay intact. As long as you stay in the crusts you can cut any shape you want into your bread. StephieCanCook -
