Make a checklist Keep all ingredients within reach

In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of melted butter with the flour, make a crumble with your fingers. add water little by little. Make a sticky dough. Drench with sesame seed oil. Let rest for 32 minutes. Dough should be pliable. Pich the dough to make 8 small balls.
Filling : Blach carrots, First immerse the carrots in boiling water and after 2 minutes, take them out and put them in ice water. This is called blanching. Drain and pat dry with a paper towel or cloth. Then grate - 3
Dry roast the besan flour over low heat. Mix the c grated arrots, roasted flour and brown sugar and make 8 small balls. The filling is ready.

Place the dough ball on a parchment paper. Grease your fingers with oil and flatten the dough ball into a small circle. Place the filling in the middle and close it (picture).

Apply oil on your fingesr and flatten it thinly.
Fry in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, apply a little butter and place the poli on the parchment paper on the skillet, Remove the parchment paper; and roast on both sides. Delicious poli is ready. Taste and serve. Poli actually tastes better the next day - 6
Soak saffron in a tablespoon of hot milk or boiling water. Grate the ;icprice and nutmeg with a small grater.
Add cardamom powder, saffron, licorice and nutmeg powder to the boiled milk. Place the poli on a plate and pour a cup of hot milk over it. Let it soak until the poli becomes soft and delicious.
