Semolina/Rava cake is a pretty popular Indian cake and is really easy to make at home. It does not require any special equipment or expertise, which makes it a perfect beginner’s cake. You can hardly mess up this cake, it is so forgiving!

Take curd,sugar and oil in a mixie jar and blend for 2 minutes then remove the mixture in a mixing bowl. Now add semolina and vanilla extract, mix well and cover with lid, give rest for 10 minutes.

Pri heat the oven at 180 degree. Line up the cake tin with parchment paper and keep ready.after resting the better,now add baking powder, baking soda,milk (if needed) and tutti fruiti,mix everything with cut and fold method. Add the better in a tin,add more tutti-frutti and nut chunks. tap the tin 2-3 times and put it in the oven. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes. When cake is ready, remove from the oven.

Let it cool down completely then remove the cake on wire rack to cool down more. After that cut it in a square or triangle. Have it with cup of tea or coffee. Enjoy..
