Ingredients

60 minutes
4 servings
  • 3 tbspbrown sugar
  • 2 tspgarlic paste or mince
  • 1/4 cupsoy sauce
  • 1 tbspwhite wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cupbeef stock
  • 1 tbspsesame oil
  • 1 tbspgrated ginger
  • 1/2 tsponion powder or granules
  • 1-3 tbspgochujang paste
  • 1/2 tspground black pepper
  • 800 gdiced beef
  • 3small onions, peeled and thickly sliced
  • 1small red pepper
  • 4spring onions, roughly sliced, plus extra for garnish
  • 150 ggreen beans, roughly chopped

    Add the beef, green beans, red pepper, and both onions and spring onions to the instant pot.

  2. 2

    In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients until combined. The gochujang can be spicy, so add according to preference of spice level. Chilli's can also be added if preferred extra spicy.

  3. 3

    Add the liquid to the instant pot.

  4. 4

    Set pressure cooker to 40 minutes on high. The liquid will be quite watery, but if you prefer it thicker, switch the instant pot to sauté mode and thicken using corn flour.

  5. 5

    Serve over sticky rice once the beef is cooked. Garnish with a sliced spring onion. Can be served with a side salad of choice.
