Cooking Instructions

Place water and chicken legs into a saucepan and allow to come to a boil. Prepare other ingredients at this time.

Roughly cube potato, onion, carrots, and tomato. Place all vegetables except the tomatoes into a saucepan.

Allow the mixture to come to a boil, then change the temperature to medium-low. Allow soup to simmer for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes of simmering, add in tomatoes, optional corn, salt, chicken bullion. Taste for seasoning and add optional ketchup if needed. 1 packet of to-go ketchup also works.

Simmer for 5-10 more minutes. Garnish with green onion and serve with rice. Enjoy!

I got the idea of making this soup after someone made a soup from a stew we had the night before whilst I was travelling.I'm using breast meat, but thigh meat is much juicier. If you want to make this recipe a bit healthier, then omit the flour. The vegetables in this soup have already been blended so if you want to give your stew a bit of texture, feel free to add any vegetables you find in your freezer.
