Ingredients

45 minutes
3 servings
  • Marination -
  • 400-500gms. mutton (boneless or with bones)
  • 1 tbsp.ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp.turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp.red chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp.pepper powder
  • 1 tsp.garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp.roasted coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp.oil
  • Other ingredients -
  • 2-3 tbsp.oil
  • 3-4green chilies, slit
  • 1/3 cupcoriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 sprigscurry leaves, chopped
  • 1-2 tsp.lemon juice

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Marinate the mutton for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight.

    Add 1 cup water & pressure cook for 15-20 minutes on a low flame after the first whistle.

    The pressure cooked mutton.

    Heat 2-3 tbsp. oil in a pan. Transfer the cooked mutton into it. Sauté till the gravy is almost reduced.

    Add coriander leaves, curry leaves & green chilies. Sauté till the mutton is well fried and is coated with the gravy.

    When done, switch off the flame & add the lime juice. Give it a stir & keep it covered for 4-5 minutes.

    Garnish with coriander leaves & green chilies.
