Since it's fasting season, almost every household makes sabudana khichdi or tikki. I made sabudana tikki too—try making it during your fast! Let's see what ingredients I used for this recipe.
Steps
- 1
First, rinse the sabudana thoroughly, then soak it in water for 6 to 7 hours.
- 2
Once the sabudana has softened and expanded, add the boiled potatoes, green chilies, cilantro, salt, and crushed peanuts. Mix everything well.
- 3
Take small portions of the mixture, roll them into balls, then flatten them to form patties.
- 4
Fry the patties in hot oil, turning them until they are golden brown on both sides.
- 5
Sabudana aloo tikki is ready! Serve it with cilantro chutney or coconut chutney.
- 6
Note: The most important step is soaking the sabudana. Make sure to soak it for at least 6 to 7 hours.
