Bhapa actually means you would place the mustard paste coated fish pieces in a close container / tiffin box & that would be placed over a water bath ,then it will be cooked on low heat.

Bhapa actually means you would place the mustard paste coated fish pieces in a close container / tiffin box & that would be placed over a water bath ,then it will be cooked on low heat.
Steps

In a tiffin box add mustard paste, mustard oil, turmeric powder, salt to taste & mix well.

Then add the whole parshe fish pieces, split green chillies, and mix again with the mustard paste mixture.

Now spread a few drops of mustard oil on top.

In a kadai take sufficient water & then place the tiffin box on a stand inside the kadai.

Cover & cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes.Then remove the tiffin box from heat.

Garnish the bhapa Parhse fish with freshly chopped coriander leaves & green chillies.

Serve the delicious bhapa Parhse fishes / steamed parse fish with hot steamed rice.
