Crunchy Roasted Green Pea Snack!

This recipe is the perfect snack for home or to take with the kids to the park.
You can use frozen or fresh green peas.
Once cooled, store them in an airtight container and take them with you! The peas shrink to about half their original size, so make a BIG batch if you want leftovers.
It's a great snack to make in the morning and then bring along in the afternoon to the park or in the car!
I hope your kids enjoy it!

Steps
- 1
Let the peas thaw, then pat them dry with paper towels to remove as much moisture as possible. To speed up thawing, cover them with warm water for a few minutes.
- 2
Preheat the oven to 350°F (170°C).
- 3
Place the peas in a bowl and add the olive oil and garlic powder. Toss to coat evenly. Spread them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes, then shake and stir the peas to ensure even roasting.
- 4
Taste the peas at this point to see if they're crunchy enough. If they need more time, return them to the oven for a few more minutes until they're nice and crispy.
- 5
Let them cool before serving.
- 6
Enjoy!
