Ingredients

25 minutes

  • 500 gramRajapuri raw mango
  • Water as per required
  • 500 gramsugar
  • 4-5cloves
  • 2-3cinnamon sticks
  • 10-15saffron threads dissolved in water
  • 15-20cashew nuts pieces
  • 15-20almond pieces
  • 1 tspcardamom powder

Steps

  1. 1

    First, wash the raw mango two to three times in clean water, peel it and cut it into small pieces.

    Now add mango pieces in a pan, add 6 to 7 glasses of water and boil it on medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes. After boiling, the color of mango will change... After that, now strain the mango through a soup strainer to drain all the water and keep this mango aside for 15 minutes.

    Now add sugar in another pan and add enough water to submerge the sugar and mix it. Now add cloves, cinnamon pieces and saffron water to it and let it boil on medium flame. After 5 to 7 minutes, a syrup of a string is formed.

    Now add boiled mango pieces to this, mix and cook on medium flame for 5 to 10 minutes. Now the syrup has thickened. When the syrup becomes 1/2, take a drop of syrup on the tip of your finger and when it forms a perfect string, turn off the gas flame.

    Now add cardamom powder, cashew pieces and almond pieces to this and mix. Once this murabba cools down, the syrup of one and half strings will be ready.

    Now our very rich and flavorful mango dry fruit murabba is ready to serve. Serve with dinner or lunch.
