  • 1 CupWhole Green Moong
  • 1/4 CupSama Rice
  • 3green chillies
  • 2 inchGinger
  • 3 tspButter
  • 2 tspChat Masala
  • 2 tspRed chili Powder
  • For Chutney
  • 1Big Ripen Tomato🍅
  • 2 tspUrad Dal
  • 2 tspChana/ Gram Dal
  • 12-15Curry leaves
  • 2 tspJeera
  • 2Red chilies soaked
  • 1 piecetamarind soaked
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 tspJagerry powder(optional)

    Soak whole Green Moong with Sama rice in water. Soak for about 4-5 hours.

    Once soaked well, Take a mixer jar. Add soaked green moong with Sama rice. Add chopped green chilies + pieces of ginger. Add water & grind fine paste. I groud the mixture into 3 batches.Transfer ground batter into a bowl. Add Salt. Mix salt with batter well. Cover & Keep it aside.let us make chutney now.Transfer ground batter into a bowl. Add Salt.     In a pan, heat oil. Into heated oil add urad dal + Chana dal. Fry well. Add jeera + curry leaves. Then add Chopped tomato. Stir it well. Now add soaked tamarind + soaked red chilies. Add water little. Cover with lid. Cook for 5 min.

    After 5 min, tomatoes are cooked well. Turn off flame. Let to cool the tomato mixture. Once cooled, grind into mixer by adding sugar powder & salt. Transfer chutney into a bowl.

    Let us make dosa. Heat up tawa. Spread oil with onion. Then sprinkle water & wipe water with tissue. Pour a ladle ful batter over tawa. Spread batter in a circular way with the help of ladle.

    Dosa should be thin. Once it's top side gets cooked, spread ready chutney all over the dosa. Then spread all chopped veggies one by one. Sprinkle chat masala + chili powder over it. Press veggies gently. Cook over low flame to make it crispy. Apply butter or oil on it.Our crispy moong dal dosa is ready.. serve with red chutney.
