Ingredients

  1. 120 gglutinous rice flour
  2. 50 gcornstarch
  3. 25 gsugar
  4. 25 gmelted butter
  5. 260 gfresh orange juice
  6. 50–70g unsweetened coconut flakes, for coating

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, whisk together glutinous rice flour, cornstarch, sugar, and orange juice until smooth and lump-free.

    Cover and poke holes with toothpicks. Microwave the mixture for 4½ minutes, stirring halfway through.

    Stir in the butter while the mixture is still hot until fully melted and incorporated.

    Once cool enough to handle, pinch off small pieces, roll into balls, and flatten slightly.

  5. 5

    Roll each piece in unsweetened coconut flakes to prevent sticking and add texture.
