Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1ball or pre-packaged roll Pizza dough
  2. 1 pack(e.g., salami, prosciutto, sopressata) Italian charcuterie meat variety
  3. 1 packPepperoni
  4. 1/3 poundProvolone cheese slices
  5. to taste Oregano and basil or Italian seasoning blend
  6. 1Egg
  7. as neededOlive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Roll out pizza dough into a square shape on a floured surface.

  3. 3

    Layer provolone slices on dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border.

  4. 4

    Add charcuterie meats and pepperoni on top of the cheese.

  5. 5

    Roll the dough tightly, folding in the sides, and seal the edges.

  6. 6

    Make small slits on top with a knife.

  7. 7

    Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with seasoning.

  8. 8

    Place on an oiled cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. 9

    Let cool for 2 minutes, then slice and serve.
