Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupmascarpone (100 g)
  2. 1/3 cupsugar (80 g)
  3. 2eggs
  4. 3/4 cupall-purpose flour (100 g)
  5. 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  6. Zest of 1 lemon

Steps

40 minutes

    In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone and sugar.

  2. 2

    Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  3. 3

    Add the flour, baking powder, and lemon zest, then mix until the batter is smooth.

  4. 4

    Pour the batter into a greased and parchment-lined 7-inch (18 cm) cake pan.

  5. 5

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C), then bake for about 40 minutes, depending on your oven.

  6. 6

    Let the cake cool slightly before removing it from the pan.
