[Farmhouse Recipe] Hawaiian Loco Moco [Farmhouse Recipe] Hawaiian Loco Moco
Regular Loco Moco burgers break apart easily, so I added lots of onions to the patties to hold their shape. The amount of onion is half the amount of the meat, so it's a hearty dish. The gravy is thickened with katakuriko. Recipe by FarmersK cookpad.japan -
Easy Lunch Loco Moco Rice Bowl with Stir-fried Hamburger Meat Easy Lunch Loco Moco Rice Bowl with Stir-fried Hamburger Meat
My husband called to say that he didn't need dinner, but I had planned to make hamburgers. Since it was just me and the kids, I decided to make something simple. My 4 year old doesn't usually eat a lot of hamburgers, but she had seconds of this rice bowl! I guess it's easier to eat than hamburgers.Make a shallow well in the meat to crack the eggs into for stability.Since this is eaten with rice and veggies, the flavor is somewhat rich. Adjust it if you want.Check out my hamburger recipe with the same seasoning mix.. Recipe by Yusase mama cookpad.japan -

Some of my best friends are Chefs. With that, most weekends or holidays we get together and challenge each other to come up with dishes that we literally pull from hats. Today, I pulled a Hawaiian dish, no more than ten ingredients and a dish that's made in less than 15 minutes. I won! Pfft! Suckas! To speed this dish up, use instant microwavable rice. However, fresh cooked rice is always better - and has better body. MMOBRIEN -
Easy-to-Make Loco Moco Bowl with Tofu Hamburgers Easy-to-Make Loco Moco Bowl with Tofu Hamburgers
Instead of using 100% meat, you can make the dish a bit healthier by mixing in tofu.I omitted adding onions because it was troublesome! The cabbage helps give it some texture. It's also delicious if you serve with tomatoes or cucumbers. You can also have it as a side dish instead of serving in a rice bowl! My wife and I love loco moco. Not only is the Hawaiian staple a delicious and filling anytime meal, it's also almost limitless when it comes to customization. For instance, this version features things we both love: garlic rice (for me) and creamy cheddar cheese sauce (for her). A perfect match, just like us. Robert Gonzal -
