Paneer yakhni is a party dish.This dish is very tasty, aromatic and flavourful.It has the ingredients of a Kashmiri cuisine.

Dry roast cumin, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, cardamom, black pepper, whole red chilli and dal chini on low heat.Let it cool and then grind.Keep it aside.

Grind cashew nut, poppy seeds and paneer with 1/4 cup water.Keep it aside.

Cut paneer into slices and shallow fry.In the same oil fry capsicum.Keep it aside.

In the same oil,add bay leaf,green chilli and ginger.Saute.Then add cashew nut paste and fry.Add curd,sugar and saffron water.Mix it well.Add salt and cook on medium heat for 6-7 min.

Add paneer pieces and capsicum.Sprinkle ground masala and mix.Add 1/2 cup water and cook it for 4-5 min.

Your yakhni paneer curry is ready to serve.Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve.Enjoy it with rice,roti or naan.
