1. *Activate yeast:* In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
2. *Mix dough:* In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder (if using). Add the yeast mixture and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
