Kids favorite --- Pizza . In this recipe pizza is made healthy by using dalia (broken wheat) & yellow moong dal . I am sure No No to Pizza will become Yes Yes to Pizza Cups ☺☺ for all the Moms , who are on the look out for a healthy after school snack for their kids .
Dalia or broken wheat is a good source of protein. It is also rich in other essential nutrients & fiber . It gives you a feeling of fullness & you will not indulge in overeating. Include dalia or broken wheat in some form or the other in children's diet & they won't even realize it .
Moong dal is a must HAVE for growing children . It is high in protein which helps in muscle growth & overall development in children. It is full of natural antioxidants & rich in vitamins & minerals. It is also good for brains & easily digestible.

Wash broken wheat & yellow Moong dal throughly under running water. Soak them together as per instructions given in the ingredient list above. 👆

Now drain the water & grind them with besan, semolina, rice flour,curds, green chillies & turmeric powder to a fine paste. Add salt. Mix well. Do not add any water.

Grease an appe pan with melted butter. Add eno fruit salt, 1 tsp water on it. Whisk the batter. Pour 1 tbsp of the batter in each cavity.Press the batter on the cavity of appe as a 'katori ' (cup) as shown in the picture below 👇

Cover & cook the katori for 2 -3 minutes or till it is cooked properly from inside also & golden from outside. Remove & set the katori aside.

How to serve : Just at the time of serving, put 1/2 a tsp of pizza sauce, corn, tri - colored bell peppers & cheese.

Cover & cook them again till cheese melts. Sprinkle chilli flakes & garnish with black olives. Serve immediately.
