Urad Dal Dahi Phulki / Doi Fuluri

Wash off urad dal and soak for overnight. Then rinse the water. Take a mixer jar add soaked urad dal, green chilli, ginger and water. Blend it, transfer in a mixing bowl.

For masala water take a sauce pan add water, red chilli powder, asafoetida, salt and sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Masala water is ready, pour it in a bowl and keep aside for cooling.

Now add salt into urad dal and whisk it very well. Then take a kadai, heat oil. Take small amount of urad dal mixture like a small ball or phulki and fry. After frying the phulki pour into masala water. Soak for 10 minutes.

In a big mixing bowl take chiiled curd, add sugar powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix very well.

Now add soaked phulki or fuluri in the mixed curd. Lastly take a tadka pan heat the oil, add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Fry for 1 minutes and pour into the bowl.
