Gently mash using a spoon or potato masher. Add sliced onion, chopped green chilies, and coriander.

🍆 Pro Tip:
For added smokiness, briefly smoke the cooked bharta using the dhungar method (hot coal + ghee in a small bowl covered with a lid for 2 mins).
