Spring Rolls with Homemade Spring Roll Wrappers Spring Rolls with Homemade Spring Roll Wrappers
#superbowlThis Spring Roll recipe is crisp on the outside with a juicy chicken and vegetables filling. You can fill the spring roll wrappers with anything you’d like. For vegetarian or vegan, just ommit the meat. Spring Rolls are usually served with Sweet and Sour Sauce, you can either make your own or buy Thai sweet chili sauce. Pawon Indo Bule -
Hot Rolls Hot Rolls
This is the recipe I found 15 years ago in a charity cookbook I got. Those cookbooks are like the Dead Sea scrolls. Anyway, I had to rearrange it a bit to make it work for me. It can be made in a variety of different pans with add ins and toppings from sweet to savory. Keep in mind this is bread so it’s not overly sweet. I’ve used it in desserts and as dinner rolls and slab bread. It has a million uses. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
Handmade Spring Roll Wrappers and Gyoza Skins Handmade Spring Roll Wrappers and Gyoza Skins
I think this homemade skin/wrapper is more bouncy and chewy than storebought. It's fun to make with the kids, you can make memories as well as delicious things together. If it's difficult or just a bother to roll the the gyoza skins out so they're round, you can roll out the dough in a large piece and cut it out with a cookie cutter or something similar (like the lid of a container). I've never done it that way myself, but I've seen it done on TV in that fashion. The key is to keep rolling out the dough until you think you can't possibly roll it thinner. Homemade Wonton Wrappers Homemade Wonton Wrappers
Crispy and thin wrappers. This recipe is perfect for fried or boiled wonton and shumai (chinese dumpling). Wheat starch (it is NOT the same as wheat flour) here will give the wrapper some translucence/transparent look and also produce a very white wrapper. You will find it at an Asian grocery. You can subtitute all purpose flour for wheat starch. Of course the result will be different. Pawon Indo Bule -

Roll Cake Roll Cake
Fluffy roll cakes taste great but the sponge tends to break quite easily so I improved the recipe and made it moist as well. Please adjust the amount of cream you use to your taste (I have a bit left over when I prepare 150 ml). When rolling the sponge, make sure you start with a tightly rolled center so that you can end up with a neater shape. Just be careful so that it doesn't crack. Recipe by *Halu* cookpad.japan
