Green moong beans are a good source of vitamin C. They help strengthen bones and boost immunity.

First, place the moong beans in a bowl and wash them 2-3 times with water. Then add 2 cups (480 ml) of water and soak for 6-7 hours.

After soaking, transfer the moong beans to a blender jar. Add a little water, green chilies, cumin seeds, and garlic. Blend until smooth.

Pour the mixture into a bowl. Add salt, asafoetida, and all the finely chopped vegetables. Mix well.

Heat a nonstick skillet and lightly grease with oil. Pour medium-sized portions of the batter onto the skillet. Spread a little butter on top and cook on both sides until golden and crispy.

Serve on a plate with tomato ketchup.
