Soybeans or Soyabeans Salad is a Nepali appetizer that can be enjoyed as a starter or a side with any other Nepali dish. Or any dish of your favourite among your cuisine. It just leaves a lasting impression on the food lovers mind. Traditionally it is made by just roasting the Soyabeans and then mixing it with the rest of the ingredients.
But in this variation or a twist, I have used soaked and boiled Soyabeans instead thus making it a great addition to our mealtimes. Scientifically it is proven that dry Beans or Pulses needs to be well soaked at first and then boiled to derive it's optimum nutritional benefits. Basically they need to be cooked so that it becomes a gut friendly dish. I too have done the exact thing here. That's the only difference i had made in this dish. The rest of the recipe remains exactly the same. It's a no Cook dish to a large extent. The only cooking was to roast in the original recipe and here in this variation by me, the only time taken is the boiling time. That's it. A perfect accompaniment to many a meals, a lovely starter and even a healthy Brunch or a wholesome snack, this is many in one dish. Let's get rolling with the making of this recipe.
