Ingredients

4 servings
  • 900 g (2 lbs)Ground beef
  • 45 ml (3 tbs)Ketchup
  • 2large Eggs
  • 1 sliceBread
  • to taste Garlic powder
  • to taste Onion powder
  • to taste Dried parsley
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup)Ketchup (for glaze)
  • 15 ml (1 tbs)Dijon mustard
  • 10 g (2 tsp)Light brown sugar (packed)

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    In a small bowl, whisk together all glaze ingredients and set aside.

  3. 3

    In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ketchup, eggs, bread, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Press mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Poke holes with a fork.

  5. 5

    Bake for 30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Remove from oven, brush half the glaze on top, and bake 30 more minutes.

  7. 7

    Remove from oven, brush with remaining glaze, and serve.
