Pour the milk in a sauce pan and place it on medium heat. Once the milk comes to boil, reduce heat and add oats.

Cook oats, stirring them all the while till the mixture begins to thicken (the cooking time will depend on which kind of oats you have chosen)

Stir in the cinnamon and remove the pot from heat. Stir in the pumpkin puree (I don’t cook the puree with porridge)

Decant the contents in the serving bowl. Scatter the toppings on the porridge and drizzle it with honey or agave. You can serve the porridge warm, hot or cold with toppings of your choice. Enjoy the bowl of healthy deliciousness!
Tips
Note – You can use seasonal fruits for topping your porridge.
Note – Feel free to add some shredded dried toasted coconut (khopra) to this porridge. It pair really well with the pumpkin.
Note - Use rolled oats rather than quick cooking ats since rolled oats are far better in texture and in their food value in comparison to quick cooking oats.
