A simple, versatile yeast dough — perfect for homemade pizza or other baked treats.

Acrivate the yeast - dissolve the sugar in warm water, add the yeast, and stir gently. Let it sit, covered, for 5-10 minutes. In the meantime, add the salt and flour to a larger bowl.

After 10 minutes, bubbles should appear - that´s a good sign.

Pour in the yeast mixture and mix with your hands until combined. Add the olive oil and knead for about 10 minutes, until the dough is smooth and non-sticky.

Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover and let it rest in a warm place for 1–1,5 hours, or until doubled in size. Punch down the dough, divide it in half, and roll out one half — enough for a medium pizza.

Add ketchup and your other pizza toppings, bake for 8–10 minutes, and you’re done. Enjoy! 😋
