Ingredients

1 hour
4 to 6 servings
  1. 1 tubcream cheese
  2. 2garlic cloves crushed
  3. 1 tspdried parsley
  4. 1 tspdried oregano
  5. 1 bunchfresh basil or chives are nice to add
  6. 1roll puff pastry
  7. 4tomatoes sliced into discs
  8. olive oil
  9. salt and pepper for seasoning

    Slightly warm the cream cheese and mix it with the herbs and garlic

  2. 2

    On a floured surface roll out the puff pastry a little. Then using a round cookie cutter, cut out small discs

  3. 3

    Using a smaller cookie cutter, gently press into the discs to create a "rim". Be careful not to cut all the way through. Place the discs onto a lined baking tray.

  4. 4

    Spread some of the cream cheese onto the discs and place a tomato slice on top

  5. 5

    Brush some olive oil onto the tarts and season with salt and pepper

  6. 6

    Bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown
