Ingredients

  1. 2 bagsOyster crackers
  2. 2 cups (4 sticks)salted butter
  3. 2 cupsBrown sugar
  4. 2 tspVanilla extract
  5. 2 tsp(plus extra for cinnamon sugar) Ground cinnamon
  6. 1 cupGranulated sugar
  7. as neededNon-stick spray

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a pan with foil and spray with non-stick spray.

    Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat. Add vanilla and 2 tsp cinnamon, stir well.

    Toss the oyster crackers with the mixture until evenly coated.

    Spread crackers in a single layer on the prepared pan.

    Bake for 15 minutes.

    While baking, mix granulated sugar with extra cinnamon for coating.

    Remove from oven, cool for 5 minutes, then toss with cinnamon sugar until coated.

    Store in a ziplock or airtight container.
