First take a bowl, add ghee in it. Put a strainer over it then pour the powdered sugar on it. Strain it. Now whisk the sugar and ghee together until it becomes light and fluffy.

Then add all the dried ingredients like maida, besan, salt, suji and milk powder again on the strainer and strain them well.

Now mix everything together with the ghee mixture to make a soft dough. Now take 1 tbsp of dough and make small balls out of it. Gently press each of the balls from the centre. Make a cross design with the help of a knife. Now grease a flat plate with sum oil/ghee and place the flat balls over it.

For pre-heating: Place a large kadhai, put sum salt into it so dat the base of the kadhai gets coated with salt. Place a small steel lid or vati in between the kadhai and cover the kadhai and keep it for pre-heating, 3 mins in high flame and 5 mins on low to medium flame.

Now our kadai is pre-heated. Now place the plate in the kadhai properly and cover it with a lid. Keep the flame low and bake them for 20 to 25 mins.

Remove the plate from the kadai, let it cool down completely then store it in an airtight container.
