Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, egg, salt, and any optional seasonings or herbs you like. Mix with a spatula or your hands until a sticky dough forms. If the dough feels too dry or crumbly, add 1 tsp water at a time until it comes together.
- 3
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out evenly to about 1/8 inch thick, covering most of the baking sheet.
- 4
Remove the top sheet of parchment. With a sharp knife or pizza cutter, score the dough into squares or rectangles, pressing down firmly but not cutting all the way through.
- 5
Transfer the parchment with the dough onto the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crackers are lightly golden and firm to the touch.
- 6
Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet. This helps them become extra crisp.
- 7
Once cooled, break the crackers along the scored lines. Store in an airtight container.
Tips
For extra flavor, experiment with different herbs and seasonings. Ensure the dough is rolled evenly for consistent baking.
