Steps
- 1
Finely dice your onions, carrots, celery and mushrooms
- 2
Heat your pan on a medium high heat, then add your mince, and cook for several minutes until brown. You should have some nice crispy brown edges to your mince. (As we've used pork mince its lighter in colour then beef mince anyway)
- 3
Remove the mince from the pan, add your oil and heat then add in your diced vegetables
- 4
Once the vegetables have cooked (around 10 minutes) and are soft, then add your garlic.
- 5
Start adding in your dried herbs
- 6
Add your mince back in
- 7
Add your red wine and cook off for several minutes until it has reduced.
- 8
Add your tomato paste and stir in, then cook throughout
- 9
Then in with your tinned tomatoes
- 10
Next up add your stock
- 11
Add in your dried bayleafs, fresh rosemary and Worcestershire Sauce
- 12
Simmer the sauce for two hours until thickened.
- 13
Just before serving add your fresh herbs and stir.
- 14
Serve up and Enjoy! As you can see from the last picture is great in a Lasagna
