Try out this exotic Chilli Mango Chutney which has a unique flavour of fresh spices with a red hot colour. Its wonderful flavour adds wonders to the meal giving it a perfect spice and tanginess.

Wash raw mango. Peel and cut into small cubes. Similarly peel and chop onions roughly..

In a mixer jar add raw mango, onions, garlic, red chilli powder, salt and grind to smooth paste.

Take the chutney out in a bowl. Now heat oil in a tadka pan. When hot add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add asafoetida and pour it over the chutney.

Serve as side dish with roti, rice, paratha, pakoda, idli, dosa vada etc. Store in an airtight container under refrigerator upto 5 days.
Tips
Tadka is totally optional. But it increases the shelf life of the chutney.
You can add sugar or jaggery for make it sweet and tangy.
