It's one of the best Dalvadas I've ever had. I haven't made it yet, but will. Make it soon.
Steps

Drain soaked mung dal completely and transfer to a mixer jar.

Add spring onions, garlic, cumin seeds, salt, green chillies, and coriander leaves.

Pulse grind coarsely (do not over-grind).

Transfer mixture to a bowl. Add chana flour and mix well.
- 5
Just before frying, add baking powder and combine.
- 6
Heat oil in a pan. Shape mixture into moderately big vadas.
- 7
Fry vadas in hot oil until golden and crisp. Avoid making very small vadas or else they get chewy
