Cut the pineapple into small pieces.Then wash the rice well and drain the water. Heat ghee in a pan and lightly fry the cashew nuts and raisins. Now fry the pineapple pieces in the same ghee with a little sugar.

Now add the remaining ghee to the pan and bay leaves. Fry the rice in the pan for2-3minutes.

Then add water, little salt and saffron soaked milk. When the water starts boiling,reduce the heat and cover and cook until the rice is cooked. When the rice is almost done,add the previously fried pineapple pieces and cherries. Mix lightly and keep it on low heat for another 2-3minutes.

Before serving, sprinkle,the fried cashew nuts,and raisins on top and serve this delicious pineapple cherry pulao.
