Steps

Wash the brinjal and pat dry.

Now slice the brinjal into 4 pieces, smear with salt and keep aside for 5 minutes

Now heat oil in a pan.

Once hot add the brinjal pieces and fry them flipping one side at a time till they turn golden brown in colour.

Remove from the oil and serve with ghee and steamed white rice.
