Being a Bachelor, far away from home, heavy rains.... Just want to cook something and then you find it interesting to have ramen.....except all you have is some chicken, maggi, cheese , and a corn soup sachet and ofc some veggies. That's when the creativity starts and tried to make my Bachelor Style Chicken Ramen

Steps

1 hour
  1. 1

Marinate your chicken breast with your preference of seasoning. i used simple - salt, pepper, red chilli, garam masala and few drops of oil. and let it sit for 5 - 10 minutes

  2. 2

Take a pan. add some butter (or not, works either way). after the pan is heated, cook your marinated chicken breast on it. Cook for 14-16 mins by flipping the chicken. nice golden brown color and the chicken to be juicy is what we are aiming

  3. 3

While the chicken is cooking you need prep you veggies. dice your carrot, chop your garlic, ginger, spring onion, some long strands of cabbage

  4. 4

After the chicken is done, place the chicken aside. in the same pan, add 2-3 gm of butter, 2-3 ml of oil (this might be necessary) and add your garlic and ginger. saute them until golden color, then add you veggies like cabbage and carrot. after the veggies have softened, add 300ml of water and a pinch of salt

  5. 5

Once the water starts to boil, add you 2 tbspn soy sauce, 1 corn soup sachet, 30ml of milk and your Maggi masala sachet, and some pepper/any other seasoning you might like

  6. 6

Let everything boil and you can feel the aroma, add your noodle block. cook the noodle for only 2-3 mins. so that it is soft yet springy/bouncy. overcooking the Maggi might give you soggy noodles which we do not want.

  7. 7

Carefully transfer thing into a bowl. in the same pan (no water/anything) add a few drops of oil and drop a egg. season it with salt and pepper. the yolk shall not be fully cooked. stop the heat.

  8. 8

Take the egg as is and put it on the bowl. now arrange you chicken, the omelette and season with spring onions.

  9. 9

Enjoy your Sweet, creamy with a dash of spicy Chicken-Egg Maggi Ramen Bowl

Tips

1. You can use your air fryer if you want - 170 degC/15 mins
2. while cooking the chic
