There's nothing that says fall more that some pumpkin pancakes on a fall morning!

Whisk flour, brown sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, and spices in a large bowl.

In another bowl, mix milk, egg, butter, and vanilla until combined.

Pour wet mixture into dry and whisk until JUST combined. -don't overmix it- it makes the pancake tough. You will see some lumps in your batter by now.

Let rest for 5 minutes. Heat a griddle or pan to medium and grease lightly.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter per pancake. Flip when the bottom is bubbly, about 2-3 minutes.

Enjoy your fall pancakes!
Tips
If you want to be creative, instead of pumpkin spice and cinnamon, swap with 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, and 1/4 tsp ginger. You can also swap the butter for oil if needed.
