Soak the red choura beans overnight.Cook this with 1/2 cup water (with out adding salt)in a pressure cooker for a whistle.

Meanwhile cut the pindi into circles first (removing the outermost covers),discarding the strands that comes along and then into small cubes.

Open the cooker & add the 3 cups of chopped pindi to this along with salt and cook for a whistle.

Saute the chopped onions,garlic and curry leaves in a tbsp oil.Add the Chilli powder in medium heat. Add little water sothat the chilli doesn't burn.

Once the oil separates open the cooker & add the water,if any is left in it.Cook till the water dries up.Now add the cooked pindi and Payar to this & cook till it's well coated in the masalas.
