Ingredients

  • 2Drum stick .
  • 1/4 kiloYam .
  • banana Raw kerala 2
  • 1/4 kiloAsh gourd .
  • 1/4 kiloYellow pumpkin .
  • 50 gmsSnake gourd .
  • 1/4 kiloYellow cucumber .
  • 1 cupCoconut grated .
  • 3chilly Green .
  • 1/4Jeera .                               spoon
  • 1/2 cupCurds .
  • 1 tablespoonCoconut oil .                   .
  • Curry leaves . .                   Few
  • pinchTurmeric powder .           A
  • Salt .                                         As required

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and cut all the above vegetables  into 2 inch length pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook adding 1/2a cup of water,turmeric powder and salt.

  3. 3

    Grind coconut coarsely  adding green chilly and jeera.

  4. 4

    Add this to the cooked vegetables and stir for 5 second.Then add curds.

  5. 5

    Put off the stove and then add coconut oil and curry leaves.

  6. 6

    Tasty avail is ready.

A speech pathologist by profession, married to an Audiologist with two kids who are not my best admirers and critics of my cooking is how I would like to define myself. Me, though born in Kerala, was brought up in Tamil Nadu, spent my prime youth in Karnataka where I did my professional course, got married and came back to my birth place in 1978 to setup the first full fledged Speech & Hearing clinic of Kerala. My passion is to cook veg delicacies (for my husband is a vegetarian) from these three states.
