Ingredients

6-serving
  • 2 CupsBasmathi Rice
  • 1 TablespoonGhee
  • 2Cardomom green
  • 500 GramsChicken Boneless chopped fine
  • 1 Teaspoonginger paste
  • 1 TeaspoonGarlic paste
  • To Tastesalt
  • 1/2 Teaspoonpepper powder
  • 1 Teaspoonchilly powder
  • 1 Teaspooncumin Powder
  • 1 Tablespoonlime juice
  • 250 Millilitrescream Amul
  • 1/2 Cuptomato puree
  • 1onion big chopped
  • 1/2 Cupchopped corriender leaves
  • 1 Pinchtandoori food colour
  • 2 Teaspoonscooking oil
  • 2cloves
  • 1cinamon stick

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate chicken in ginger,garlic,salt,pepper,coriander leaves, lime juice, 1 tsp of oil and colour for one hour.

  2. 2

    Warm sauce pan, add oil, onion saute, then add chilly powder, tomato puree, stir in the marinated chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes. Check salt, add beaten cream and simmer for another 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook Rice with ghee and spices. To serve pour 1/2 cup of the tikka curry in plate and 1 cup of rice as shown in the picture
