Ingredients

  • 500 GramsKarimeen (Pearl spot) cleaned
  • 1 TablespoonPepper powder
  • 1 TablespoonChilly powder
  • 1 TeaspoonTurmeric powder
  • 1 TeaspoonVinegar
  • 1 TablespoonGingergarlic paste
  • To TasteSalt
  • 5Cardamom
  • 5Cloves
  • 1Cinnamon stick
  • 1Onion sliced
  • 1Tomato sliced
  • 2chillies Green Fresh
  • To TasteCurry leaves
  • To TasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Into the left over oil after frying fish add the Whole spices.

  2. 2

    Add the sliced onions, green chillies and curry leaves till soft. Add the tomato and cook till done.

  3. 3

    Now add the coconut 2nd milk and wait till it boils. Add salt to taste and the half fried fish.

  4. 4

    Let it to cook in simmer for 5 mins and then finish it with the 1st coconut milk.

  5. 5

    Best to have with Appam, idiappam, puttu, porotta or even rice..
